What this site is
Tallahassee Remediation is a service-request and lead-generation website. We may connect users with independent local service providers. Service providers are responsible for maintaining any licenses, certifications and insurance required for the services they perform.
In plain terms: this is a request intake site, not a contractor. Nothing here is presented as licensed, certified or insured work performed by Tallahassee Remediation, because the work is not performed by Tallahassee Remediation. Where a service requires specific licensing or certification — asbestos and lead abatement being the clearest examples — requests are matched and routed to providers appropriate for that scope.
Why one form instead of nine
Damage does not sort itself. A wet hallway may end up being a plumbing repair plus structural drying plus mold remediation, or it may just need extraction and three days of dehumidification. A homeowner should not have to diagnose that before asking for help. The request form collects the same core facts a provider would ask for on a first phone call: what happened, where, when, what type of property, whether insurance is involved, and what it looks like.
Why the region matters
The Big Bend and South Georgia have their own moisture behavior. High dew points for much of the year, intense summer rainfall, tropical systems that drive water horizontally into buildings, vented crawlspaces under a large share of the older housing stock, and tree canopy that keeps soil and siding damp.
