Storm recovery
Heavy rainfall and tropical systems can put water into ceilings, walls and floors. We assess storm-related interior moisture damage and coordinate appropriate mitigation, cleanup and restoration for properties in the Tallahassee area.
Request an AssessmentWind-driven rain can enter around vulnerable roof details, windows and exterior openings. Wet insulation above a ceiling or moisture behind drywall may not be apparent immediately. Tell us about the storm, where water was observed and whether intrusion is ongoing.
Storm water can affect more than one room. Our evaluation considers visible damage, relevant moisture conditions and safe access before establishing an interior restoration scope.
The immediate priority is safe access and addressing the source of continuing water entry through appropriate arrangements. The restoration scope may include extraction, removal of damaged materials and controlled drying.
We do not advertise roof replacement, tree removal or board-up services. If exterior or structural work is needed, the scope and proper authorized arrangements must be established separately.
A ceiling stain can persist after the storm because insulation or other materials remain damp. Moisture readings and follow-up observations inform the drying plan. We do not rely only on whether a room feels dry.
Projects may include photos, observations, estimates and drying records that customers can use in their own insurance communications. Coverage remains the insurer’s determination. We do not negotiate claims or guarantee approval.
Once the appropriate drying and removal work is complete, interior repairs and finishing are coordinated through Dunn Premier Homes LLC under the approved scope.
